So mommies, it is time to take a moment out of your day and take care of yourself. Have you ever noticed how so many older people have age spots on their hands? Unfortunately, years of sun exposure can play a huge toll on our hands and can result in ugly age spots and possibly skin cancer. We are all aware, or should be aware, that we need to wear a moisturizer with sunscreen on our faces daily.
But do you apply a sunscreen to your hands every morning? Our hands get a lot of sun exposure daily when we are driving. Next time you get in your car look and see how the sun is beating down on your hands. Most of us probably spend quite a few hours driving our kids to parks, school, and after school activities. This adds up to hours of sun exposure to our hands. So mommies, if you want your hands to look young, stay young, and be healthy, then start taking care of your hands today. Your daily hand care should consist of applying lotion with sunscreen to your hands every morning and throughout the day after hand washing. Go to your drugstore and buy a small bottle for your purse or glove compartment. Your daily hand care routine should also include applying a hand cream to your hands every night before bed. I keep my cream at my night stand so I don’t forget. A mild scrub applied to your hands once or twice a week to remove dead skin cells will also help your hands remain soft and holdable:)
Don’t wait, start your hand care routine today!!!
